5.2 Wheels and tires
All repairs made on tires must be performed
by
qualified
personnel
equipped
with
appropriate tools.
Before performing maintenance on the wheels
and tires, make sure the machine is stable,
well immobilized, and that it is not at risk of
accidentally moving. Use chocks if necessary.
If you must lift the machine, use a device with
a sufficient lifting capacity.
The tightening of the wheels must be checked after the first 10 hours of use and every 50 hours
thereafter.
The air pressure in the tires must be checked at the same frequency as the tightening of the wheels.
See section 1.2to know the recommended tire pressure.
5.3 Lubrication
The greasing points are indicated by a pictogram (Figure 40 – Greasing pictogram). If possible,
perform greasing after use: this will facilitate evacuating dirt and old grease.
