Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
The crushing rollers block
each other.
A foreign body is found in the
crushing rollers or the
compression screw.
Remove the foreign body from
the rollers or the screw.
Ensure the compression screw
is not damaged. Replace if
necessary.
The crushing rollers do not
turn at the desired speed.
A foreign body is found in the
crushing rollers or the
compression screw.
Remove the foreign body from
the rollers or the screw.
One or more belts are broken.
Replace the broken belts.
The drive shaft shear bolt is
broken.
Replace the shear bolt on the
drive shaft (see section 5.8).
The belts are slipping.
Adjust the belt tension (see
section 5.8).
The loading screw does not
turn.
The hydraulic couplings are
incorrectly hooked-up to the
tractor.
Stop the tractor, cut the
hydraulic pressure, clean the
couplings and reconnect them
(see section 3.5).
One or more hydraulic hoses
are broken.
Replace damaged hose(s) by
hose(s) with the same
specifications.
A foreign body is found in the
casing of the loading auger.
Clean the casing of the loading
auger.
The grain does not fall into the
crushing roller box.
The trap is closed.
Open the trap to desired
extent (see section 4.2).
There is a clog in the hopper.
Use a stick to unclog.
The hopper does not turn.
The hopper's central pivot is
missing grease.
Grease the central pivot (see
section 5.3).
