In case of shearing, replace the bolt by a bolt with the exact same characteristics (M10 x 60 mm cl.
8.8 in) (see section 1.2).
In order to perform the replacement, proceed as follows:
1. Immobilize the tractor, cut the power takeoff, turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
2. Remove the foreign bodies that caused the overload (check the roller casing and the tube of
the compression screw (see section 6).
3. Lift the power takeoff protector of the tractor to gain access to the shear bolt.
4. Replace the shear bolt.
5. Replace the tractor protector.
6. Reactivate the power takeoff by idling the tractor engine.
5.9 Mechanical adjustment of the brakes
The brakes must be adjusted when needed if they are worn or less performant. In order to adjust
the brakes, proceed as follows:
1. Lift the machine with a jack or a lifting device and set it on appropriate supports. Make sure
the drum and the wheel can turn freely.
Make sure your lifting device has sufficient
capacity to lift the bagger.
2. Remove the cover over the adjustment hole of the brake from its slot at the bottom of the
brake protection plate.
