2.1.5 Hydraulic Oil Handling
Since hydraulic oil is an inflammable substance, keep it in an approved container and always handle
it with care. Once filling is complete, put the tank cap back on and tighten it firmly. Then wipe up any
oil that may have been spilled. Never add oil when the motor is hot or running. Always keep a
working fire extinguisher close to the bagging site.
Should any hydraulic oil infiltrate your skin,
quickly consult a doctor familiar with such
injuries. Any infiltration that is not treated in
the hours that follow may lead to serious
problems including amputation.
Dispose of the oils and greases according
to the rules that apply to your region.
2.1.6 Storing the bagger
Before unhitching the bagger, make sure the machine is on the ground and that it is not at risk of
accidentally moving.
After unhitching, you must put away the hydraulic couplings on the tongue so that they don't drag on
the ground.
Use chocks to avoid machine displacement while it is unhitched from the tractor.
2.1.7 Moving the bagger
If you are driving on roads, you must comply with applicable identification and lighting regulations in
your area. We recommend you always attach the safety chains to the point of attachment between
the machine and your vehicle and lock the connecting pin with a locking pin.
Before any travel, be it over short or long distances, you absolutely must cut the power takeoff of
the tractor.
Reduce your speed when you travel on bumpy roads.
