Security and Encryption Settings Page (Bridge Mode)
To make your network more secure, choose the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) security protocol
that is supported by the Modero panels. WPA and 802.1x are not compatible with the current
firmware versions of the Modero panels, but AMX has a roadmap to integrate these security
options in future firmware upgrades. Refer to the following table for a brief description of these
terms.

WEP
Short for

P
rivacy, is a security protocol for wireless networks that
authenticate users, encrypt transmitted data, and protect the integrity of the data being
transferred.
WPA
Short for
W
i-Fi
P
rotected
A
ccess, was designed to improve upon the security features of
WEP. This technology is designed to work with existing Wi-Fi products that have been
enabled with WEP. It has two main benefits over WEP communication: improved data
encryption and user authentication.
