NXA-WAP200G Wireless Access Point
AP/Repeater Configuration Utility Pages
The NXA-WAP200G can be deployed in one of three modes to increase the availability of
deployment locations: Access Point, Repeater, and Bridge Mode. This section outlines the
properties of the AP and Repeater Modes:
Access Point Mode
- In this mode the WAP200G is connected to the LAN through a
CAT5 Ethernet cable and enables AMX's G4 Modero Wireless Touch Panels to connect
to the network wirelessly.
AP/Repeater Mode
- When trying to install the WAP200G in a location that has
electricity but does not have an Ethernet connection, such as a brick wall with an existing
electrical outlet; the WAP can be placed in AP/Repeater mode which allows it to provide
coverage for that area and send network traffic through another AP back to the wired
network using the Wireless Distribution System.
All of these Configuration Utility screens are present when using either of the above two methods.
To navigate through the utility, click on any of the tabs located at the top of the page.
Status Page
You are now logged into the configuration utility for the NXA-WAP200G. This page appears after

display the current status information, click the

the Status page (FIG. 39) are
