ML-7064A (Oscillation Unit Removal)
Have the following items ready when replacing the Oscillation Unit of the ML-7064A:
•
Phillips screwdriver
•
Screwdriver
•
Hex wrench

Disconnect the cable from three
connectors at the back of the Head Unit
(CN1, CN3, and RF-IN).

Remove both one-touch couplers on the
coolant hoses at the back of the Head
Unit.
When you remove the couplers, a little
coolant will spill out. Use a dry cloth
prepared in advance to wipe up the
spilled water.

Unscrew the six screws from the sides of
the Head Unit cover and remove the
Head Unit cover.

Before replacing the Oscillation Unit, always turn off the equipment. Wait at least 5 minutes
before starting work. Performing replacement while the unit is on or immediately after it is
turned off poses a risk of electric shock, fire, or injury (including burns and blindness).
・
Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the Oscillation Unit, yourself.

Loosen the screws on the side of the head cover.
