3.1 Installation Requirements

Head Unit
Refer to the following figure when installing the Head Unit.
Install the Head Unit in a well-ventilated location. Because marking may produce dust and particulates,
we recommend installing a dust collector.
Required Clearance and Mass Support:

Ensure the bending radius of the optical fiber at the back of Head Unit and Control Unit is at
least 150 mm.

When moving the Head Unit, support the unit in front and back to avoid touching the lens
(ML-7111A, ML-9001A, and ML-7064A). With the ML-7112AH, use both hands to hold the
handles on both sides. Do not hold it by the optical fiber or other cables.
