Installation

Head Unit Air Purge Installation (ML-7064A Only)
If the following installation conditions cannot be met, always install air purge equipment for the Head
Unit.

Air purging makes the Head Unit less susceptible to the effects of dirt, dust, humidity, oil mist, and the
like by blowing clean air in the head and increasing the internal pressure. This helps prevent
problems with the optical system, such as soiling or scorching of mirrors.

When purging the air, supply air that meets the following conditions:

Recommended air purge unit (manufactured by SMC Corporation)
Mist separator:

Heatless air dryer:
ID200-02B
Micro mist separator: AMD150-02-BC
Regulator:

Hoses, cocks, and other required parts
