Precautions for units equipped with a chiller (ML-7064A)
・
Water circulates inside the Head Unit to cool it. If the room temperature falls below 0
°C over a long period when the marker is not used, the coolant will freeze and
expand. This poses a risk of serious damage as a result, including rupture of the
cooling system hoses and damage to the water-soaking Oscillation Unit formed by
the laser rod and LD elements.
・
Thus, during winter or if there is a risk of freezing, start the chiller alone from the
computer so that water circulates through it.
・
If the marker will not be used for more than a week, always drain the water from the
Head Unit and Chiller Unit. For details, refer to the Installation and Maintenance
manual.
・
Before transport or storage, always drain the water from the Head Unit and Chiller
Unit. For details, refer to the Installation and Maintenance manual (this manual).
