PARTS INFORMATION
NOTE: Before operating your TRAXX RF, take the time to inspect and repair any damage to the machine. Only
a minimum of time and effort is required to regularly maintain this machine to provide long life and trouble free
operation.
MAINTENANCE
Diesel Engine
For specific service and maintenance information regarding the diesel engine, refer to the engine
manufacturer’s handbook provided with the machine. Ensure all service and maintenance work on the engine
is carried out at the intervals stated in that manual.
Maintenance Schedule (Track)
The spiked rubber tracks or the optional all rubber racks used on the TRAXX RF are considered a normal wear
item, much like tires on a car.
Failure of the track is not covered under warranty.
Proper maintenance of the tracks will ensure a long and trouble free service life.
• Check the tracks daily for loose spikes or cleats.
• Check the Drive and Driven sprockets daily for wear.
• Check the undercarriage system every 4 hours for mud, sticks, rocks or other debris.
• Check the track tension pressure as follows:
Every 5 hours of operation for the first 25 hours after installation or with a new machine.
After the first 25 hours check every 40 hours of operation.
Track Tension Pressure Check Procedure:
1. Use the Track Tension Kit specialized Grease
Gun to check the track tension pressure.
PARTS INFORMATION
Alamo Industrial mowers use balanced and matched system components for blade carriers, blades,
cuttershafts, knives, knife hangers, rollers, drivetrain components, and bearings. These parts are made and
tested to Alamo Industrial specifications. Non-genuine "will fit" parts do not consistently meet these
specifications. The use of “will fit” parts may reduce mower performance, void mower warranties, and present
a safety hazard. Use genuine Alamo Industrial mower parts for economy and safety.
