Bios Potentiometer
The Ground Speed Bios Control (Rotational Switch
‘D’ determines the maximum travel speed capability
of the machine, from 0 - 100%, when operating the
travel joystick. It is in effect an adjustable speed
governor. Adjustment is by rotating the switch to the
required speed (%) position; the setting chosen will
depend on numerous factors but should always
beat a setting that allows the operator optimum
control of the machine in work.
The TRAXX RF is capable of a transport speed up to 6MPH when utilizing the
II
gear range.
However, this speed can be limited with the use of the GroundSpeed Bios Potentiometer.
The Operator should always check to be sure the Gear Range is set to the
I
or first gear
prior to switching on the mower or operating on hills. NEVER ATTEMPT TO MOW OR
OPERATE ON HILLS WHEN THE UNIT IS IN THE
II
GEAR RANGE. Use the II gear range
only for flat, straight transport runs of short distance. Attempting to mow in the higher
II
gear
or transport gear may result in excessive heat generation and rapid failure of the hydraulic
system.
9.3 Steering Direction Control
The steering direction of the machine is controlled
by sideways operation of the right-hand joystick (B);
moving the lever to the right will steer the machine
to the right and moving the lever to the left will steer
the machine left..
Note: Perform this maneuver with the machine on
flat surface.
