During operation or transport, situations may arise
when it may be necessary to tow the TRAXX RF.
The following procedures should be performed as
instructed to reduce the possibility of damage to
the drive motor, tracks or brake systems, and
provide safe towing of the machine.
To provide safe towing of the TRAXX RF, the
parking brake system must be manually released.
This procedure is performed by gaining access to
the brake release nut at the back of the Drive
Motor.
Proper release of the manual brake requires that
the brake flange plate be pulled out using a
suitable bolt, support plate and nut.
Locate the drive motor cover plate on the inside
rear of the drive system on each side of the
mower.
NOTE: Always release brakes on an incline. This
allows the unit to roll if it becomes unstable.
Always block up machine when working
underneath, serious injury or death could occur if
no precaution is taken.
