Installation of Optional Hitch - Older Wheel Motor Cover Plates

To install the hitch to the older model Traxx units requires that the wheel motor cover plates be replaced when
installing the hitch. When ordering hitch kit the new wheel motor cover plate and new hardware come with it.
Current wheel motor cover plate bolts do not allow for proper hitch installation. 

For installation of hitch remove existing wheel
motor cover plates and replace with the new cover
plates that came with the hitch kit. 

Reinstall hardware and torque to 32 ft.lbs. Bolts on
the new wheel motor cover plates are recessed
into the plates for clearance. 

NOTE:

 Tapered holes go to the outside. 

Next step is to proceed to the installation of hitch.

strength equal to or greater than the gross weight of the towed
