Switching on the Polarization Controller
When you switch on the polarization controller it goes through self test.
This is the same as the self test described in “*TST?" in Chapter 6.
Optical Output
Trigger Input and Output
The Trigger Input should be a standard TTL level signal. That is,
• True = Low = digital ground or 0 Vdc to 0.4 Vdc
• False = High = open or 2.5 Vdc to 5 Vdc
The Trigger Output is a standard TTL level signal.
The polarization controller is supplied with either a straightcontact
connector (Option 021) or an angled contact connector (Option 022).
Make sure that you only use the correct cables with your chosen
output. See
"Connector Interfaces and Other Accessories"
in
Appendix B for further details on connector interfaces and
accessories.
