Setting Up a Method using Edit Entire Method
The access points in the work flow of the method are:
• Pre-Run Command / Macro
• Customized Data Analysis Macro
• Post-Run Command / Macro
Save Method with Data
saves a copy of the method in the data file and names it
RUN.M. This is not needed if the ChemStation is operated in the usual
configuration as the software always saves the method in the data file (all
versions since B.02.01). Only if the ChemStation has been configured such that
Unique Sequence Folder Creation
is turned off and hence methods are not
routinely copied into the data file, this option will be relevant.
As this is the final screen in the process, clicking
OK
will exit from
Run Time
Checklist
and from the
Edit Entire Method
process. The method should now be
saved into the master methods directory, by default
C:\Chem32\1\Methods
,
using
File > Save As > Method
or
Method Menu > Save Method As
.
