1.7 Safety during transport
IMPORTANT
Note during storage and transport:
■
Store the grease separator in frostproof rooms.
■
Never drive the forks of a fork-lift truck or lift truck directly under the grease separator.
■
Where possible, transport the grease separator on its baseframe or the wooden pallet.
■
Where possible, do not remove the package and transport restraints until the separator
is in its place of installation.
■
Use additional transport straps.
■
If transporting the grease separator using a crane or crane hook: Fasten the sling
straps to the wooden pallet or the transport eyebolts.
1.8 Decommissioning and disposal
Completely drain and clean the grease separator on decommissioning.
Improper disposal is a hazard for the environment. Comply with the regional disposal
regulations and recover or recycle the components.

Separate plastic parts (e.g. seals) and metal parts.
■
Recover metal scrap.
IMPORTANT
Electrical equipment must never be disposed of in household
waste. Comply with the regional disposal regulations for the protection of the
environment.
