Fresh grease separator plant Lipator-S-RA/Lipator-P-RA
EN
Examples from the listed standards:
■
Sampling: On installing the grease separator a device for sampling and inspection, e.g.
in the form of a sampling pipe, is to be installed directly at the outlet of the separator
and before the discharge is mixed with other wastewater. Samples must be taken from
the flowing discharge water of the grease separator by qualified persons.
■
Disposal: If necessary, for this product, partial disposal must be carried out through
automatic grease and sludge draw-off. The drawn-off grease and sludge volume and
the water trap must be subsequently refilled with water (e.g. drinking water, water for
industrial use, treated wastewater from the grease separator), which conforms to the
local discharge provisions.
■
General inspection: Before commissioning the grease separator, and then every 5 years
at the latest, it must be completely drained and cleaned and then checked by a properly
qualified technician to ensure that it is in proper working order and operates properly.
The following items must be checked and recorded as a minimum:
Dimensioning of the separator
Structural condition and leaktightness of the separator
Condition of the internal wall surfaces, built-in parts and electrical equipment
Execution of the inlet pipe of the separator as a vent stack above the roof
Completeness and plausibility of the records in the operating log
Proof of proper disposal of the constituents removed from the separator
Availability and completeness of the required permits and documents (approvals,
drainage plans, operating and maintenance instructions)
■
Operating log: The operating company/owner must keep an operating log for each
grease separator and submit it to the local competent inspecting authority on request.
Operating logs can be purchased from ACO Service,
Introduction Chap. „ACO Service“.
