4 Operation
CAUTION
Risk of infection in case of contact with wastewater

4.1 Commissioning
A general inspection by a properly qualified technician is mandatory following installation
and before commissioning,
Chap. 1.4 „Personnel qualifications“.
Î
Clean the grease separator.
Î
Connect the control to the power supply (switch on main switch).
Î
Switch on the miniature circuit-breakers and set automatic mode,
Chap. 4.2. „Control“.
Î
Set the heating temperature at the heating rod to max. 65 °.
Î
Open the shut-off valve in the cold water connection pipe of the filling device.
Î
Fill the grease separator with freshwater (water trap) up to the static water level (pipe
invert, outlet socket):
■
via the inlet line
■
Initiate automatic freshwater supply,
Chap. 4.2.2 „Function of the controls (Start
first fill filling process)“.
Î
Open the penstock (if installed) in the inlet and outlet pipe.
Î
Test the grease separator and all pipe and hose connections for leaks.
