Basic Network Settings
If Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is enabled, the IP phone automatically
configures all of the Network settings. If the phone cannot populate the Network settings, or if
DHCP is disabled, you can set the Network options manually.

DHCP
DHCP
dhcp
Enables or disables DHCP. Enabling DHCP
populates the required network information. The
DHCP server serves the network information that
the IP phone requires. If the IP phone is unable to
get any required information, then you must enter
it manually. DHCP populates the following network
information:
IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Domain
Name Servers (DNS), TFTP, HTTP HTTPS, and
FTP servers, and Timer Servers.
Note:
For DHCP to automatically populate the IP
address or qualified domain name for the TFTP
server, your DHCP server must support Option 66.
The IP phones also support Option 60 and 43.
