Enabling/Disabling a Beep for Status Message Displays
You can enable or disable a BEEP option using the Status Message object (AastraIPPhoneStatus),
the configuration files, or the Aastra Web UI.
When the phone receives a status message, the BEEP notifies the user that the message is
displaying.
You can use the following to enable/disable a status message beep:
XML Scroll Up and Scroll Down Tags
Supports the new tags “scrollUp” and
“scrollDown” that are triggered when the
scrolling reaches the top or the bottom of the
menu items.

Specifies a timeout value for the LCD screen
display.

Specifies a timeout value, in seconds, that
the phone waits for the far side to return a
response after accepting the HTTP GET
connection.

Specifies whether or not the information on
the LCD screen stays displayed when other
events occur (such as pressing buttons on
the keypad).
