Note
If any of the MATRx plus System components are not visibly clean after completing the cleaning procedure, repeat
the procedure again until visibly clean. Remove the components from use if they are not visibly clean.
Wet a lint-free cloth and wipe all the surfaces of the Recorder, Tablet and Power Adaptors thoroughly.
Dry all the surfaces of the components with a fresh, lint-free cloth.
Inspect all surfaces to ensure they are visibly clean.
Place the components aside for disinfection.
DISINFECTION PROCEDURE: MP
After cleaning has been completed, a low-level disinfection procedure must be performed.

Reconnect the MP to the Recorder and continue to the Disinfection
screen on the Tablet.
Cover the connection ports for the Nasal Cannula and Pulse
Oximeter with the plugs provided.
Extend the MP’s Upper Rod by pressing the Full Extension button.
Using the bottle of AHP, spray the MP and MP Cable until all
surfaces and hard-to-reach areas have been covered.
Caution
Do not spray the Recorder or MP Cable connector.

Allow the surfaces to remain in contact with the solution for a
minimum contact time of 1 minute. Re-spray as necessary to
ensure all surfaces remain wet.
Press the Full Retraction button and spray both of the rods during
rod movement and then the MP and MP Cable.
Caution
Do not spray the Recorder or MP Cable connector.
