The Recorder and Tablet should be fully charged prior to
dispensing the system to a patient.
During the study night, the Recorder will operate on battery power
and the Tablet will be plugged into an electrical outlet. If the Tablet is
unplugged before a study, the study will not start; if unplugged during a
study, an alert will sound.
Note
The patient will need to re-charge the Tablet and Recorder between study
nights. Ensure the Power Adaptors are provided with the system.
In the unlikely event that the System should lose power during one of the study
nights, the data from that particular study night will be lost and the Night
Study Manager will automatically reinitiate the study on a subsequent night.
CONNECTING THE RECORDER’S POWER ADAPTOR

Line up the red dot on the Power Adaptor’s connector to the red
dot on the Recorder’s connection port.
Gently push the connector straight into the port.
Note
Do not twist the end of the adaptor after connecting it to the Recorder.
This will cause damage to the connector’s pins..

Plug the other end of the Power Adaptor into an electrical outlet.
To disconnect the Power Adaptor from the Recorder, pull on the
connector sleeve and gently pull the connector out from the
connection port.
Warning
Do not charge the Recorder while it is connected to the patient.

Insert the USB end of the Power Adaptor into the connection port
located on the top of the Tablet.
Plug the other end of the Power Adaptor into an electrical outlet.
