• Loosely fasten the drape using the adhesive strips.
Disinfection
The maximum application concentrations are:
– For alcohol (tested with 2 propanol): 60%
– For aldehyde (tested with glutaraldehyde): 2%
– For quaternary compounds (tested with DDAC): 0.2%
NOTE Do not cover ventilation slots
Covering the ventilation slots can cause the device to overheat, resulting in
damage.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots in order to ensure that the lamps are
able to cool sufficiently and to avoid any loss in lamp functionality.
CAUTION This could damage the paint on the device.
The use of unapproved disinfectants can cause damage to the paintwork on
the device. Flakes of paint could come loose and fall into the surgical field.
• Use a disinfectant based on aldehyde or alcohol. The addition of
quaternary compounds is acceptable.
• To avoid damaging the surfaces, do not use any disinfecting components
other than those specified below.
