User Guide
1.
At your computer, open a Web browser, type the IP address of the printer in the address field, then
press
Enter
or
Return
.
2.
Click the
Scan
tab.
3.
In the Display area, select
Templates
.
4.
Under Template Operations, click
Create New Template
.
5.
In the New Distribution Template area, under Add Destination to Template, select the
Enter a Scan
Destination
option.
6.
Click the
Friendly Name:
field, and create a name for the template.
7.
Under Protocol, select one of the following options:
•
FTP
•
SMB
•
HTTP
•
HTTPS
8.
Select and define the appropriate settings, such as:
•
Name, IP address, and port information
•
Script path and file name
•
Document path
•
Filing policy
•
Login credentials to access the destination
•
Login name
•
Password

9.
Click
Add
.
The template is stored on the printer hard drive.
