Chapter 1 – Introduction to SmartPAC PRO

Exporting Saved Screen Capture Images to a USB Disk

(INITIALIZATION

– DIAGNOSTICS – SAVE TO USB DISK)

If you did not have a USB disk plugged in to receive screen captures, they are saved in SmartPAC
PRO and you can later export them to a USB drive, as follows.

1.

Plug a USB disk into the USB port on the front panel.

2.

In Initialization, press DIAGNOSTICS. The Diagnostic Menu appears.

3.

Press SAVE TO USB DISK. A message appears while the export happens. When complete, a
message appears, Figure 1-6

4.

Press OK to return to the Diagnostic Menu.

5.

Remove the USB disk.

If you attempt to download to USB disk without first plugging one into the USB Port, SmartPAC Pro
displays an error (see Figure 1-7).

View Screen Capture Images on SmartPAC PRO

Press and hold down the Camera button for 5 seconds. The Image Viewer window appears, showing
one of the stored screen captures with the data and time it was captured. It is marked “Image only.”
Press the right and left arrow buttons at the bottom of the window to scroll through the saved screen
images.

Creating and Using Dashboards

In Run Mode, to create a dashboard or select a previously created dashboard,
press the Favorites button. The Favorites screen appears (Figure 1-9).

To select an existing dashboard, press the dashboard you want.

•

To create a new dashboard, see the instructions in the next section.
