Settings for the Depth Alarm

6.5.6.1

Activating and Deactivating the Depth Alarm

The depth alarm can be activated and deactivated for shallow water (Shallow alarm) and 
for deep water (Deep alarm). If one or both alarms are activated, the corresponding alarm 
limits are shown in the display area (

6.3.2.2.2 "Representation of Alarm Limits").

Activating or deactivating the alarm function

A description of setting the alarm limits can be found in section 

6.5.6.2.

The default setting for both alarms is "Off".

Proceed as follows to activate or deactivate 
the alarm function:

1. Open the menu 

6.5.4.

2. Select menu item 

MAIN MENU > 

ALARM SETUP > Status



of the re-

spective alarm.

3. Press the 

[ENTER]

 key.

4. To activate the alarm, select the “On” 

setting using the 

[CURSOR]

 keys (up 

or down).

5. To deactivate the alarm, select the “Off” 

setting using the 

[CURSOR]

 keys (up 

or down).

6. Press the 

[ENTER]

 key to confirm the 

selection.
