The following error codes are used in the error message test to provide further informa-
tion:
Designation Code Description
undefined 0 Unspecified error
LWEHeaderInvalid 1
A datagram received via LWE contains no
header or an invalid header.
LineInvalid 2
Syntax of incoming data is faulty (e.g.
character between TAG blocks and sen-
tence).
DataField 3
Data field not found or the content of a
data field could not be parsed according
to its data type (e.g. letters in a field in
which only numbers are permitted).
SentenceChecksum 4
Checksum of the sentence is faulty (value
deviates from calculated value).
SentenceFormat 5
Format of the sentence is incorrect (e.g.
no fields, wrong address field, checksum
incorrectly formatted, etc.).
InvalidValue 6
The value of a data field is incorrect (e.g.
outside the permitted value range).
MissingValue 7
A data field is empty although it should
contain a value.
TagBlockRequiredButMissing 8
A datagram received via LWE contains no
TAG block.
TagBlockFormat 9 This error code is not used at present.
TagChecksum 10
Checksum of a TAG block is faulty (value
deviates from calculated value).
TagSyntax 11
Syntax of a TAG block is incorrect (e.g.
missing checksum, more than 80 charac-
ters, etc.).
TagFraming 12
Unequal number of opening and closing
TAG block delimiters (‘/’).
