Thermo Fisher Scientific

REC 4132 Rev

The

EZx

is designed to operate at temperatures no lower than 15

C (60

F) and no higher than 40

C (104

F) where the humidity ranges from 20

to 90%. It is designed to withstand low-pressure washdown (IP65)
without damage. A proper cleaning procedure must be adhered to.

Power requirements are dependent on the configuration of the EZx. See
Specifications for any specific information.

A clean air supply is required. [5.5-6.9 Bar (80-100 PSI), 850 - 1135
LPM (30 - 40 CFM)]

Failure to follow safe installation and servicing

procedures could result in death or serious injury.

representative perform installation and maintenance

procedures in accordance with the instruction in this manual.

Allow only qualified electricians trained by a

Scientific

representative to open and work in electronics

cabinet, and terminal boxes.

Covers over the electronics and moving parts must always

remain in place during normal operation. Remove only for
maintenance with the machine’s power OFF. Replace all
covers before resuming operation.

•

During maintenance a safety tag (not supplied by

Thermo

Fisher Scientific

) is to be placed over the ON/OFF switch area

instructing others not to operate the unit (ANSI:B157.1)

The air does not apply if the system has an air conditioning unit.
