Overview of the title list menu
In the title list menu, you can edit video contents on
unfinalised DVD discs and video contents on the in-
ternal hard disk (or the jukebox). The available editing
functions vary.
Recordings on the hard disk are edited in the same
way as the contents of a DVD-RW. Similar commands
for deleting and renaming titles or adapting the chap-
ter contents within the title are available.
1. Press MENU/PBC to open the title list menu.
Playback stops.
Information on the media (HDD in the example
shown) and title is displayed in the left half of the
screen. The titles (or chapters) on the DVD or hard
disk are displayed in the main section of the screen.
The number of pages appears in the information bar
at the top of the screen and all available button com-
mands appear in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Information on media/titles:
•
Remain: remaining time in the relevant recording
mode (SP) in minutes and percent of the total capac-
ity.
•
Sort criteria: Oldest first, all attributes.
•
Title Used: Recording mode (SP), length in
hh:mm:ss, file size
•
Attribute:
films
2. Press TITLE to return to the title list and back.

When selecting titles, use the buttons
W

X
/
S
/
T
to display the previous/next page.
3. Press RETURN to exit the title list menu.
Overview of menu commands
Select a title or a chapter and then press ENTER. Va-
rious options are displayed depending on the disc ty-
pe. Press
S
/
T
to select an option and then press
ENTER to confirm.
•
[Resume Play] Resumes playback of the selected ti-
tle at the point where playback last stopped.
•
[Play] Starts playing the selected title.
•
[Delete] Title - deletes the title or the chapter (page
49), All – deletes all unprotected titles.
•
[Copy] Copies the title to another data carrier (page
53).
•
[Protect] Prevents you from accidentally recording
over, changing or deleting a title (page 51).
•
[Edit] Rename, divide, A-B erase, set index picture
(page 49).
•
[Set Attribute] Lists the programs in the title list menu
according to their attributes (category) (page 50).
•
[Config] Defines sort criteria (e.g. most recent first),
sets attribute filters, defines attributes (e.g. sci-fi, cri-
me, thriller, etc.).
Selecting several titles
For some options, you can select several titles simul-
taneously to delete, copy or protect them, for exam-
ple.
1. Press TITLE to open the title list.
2. Press
X
to select the titles that you wish to edit.
3. Press ENTER to display the options.
4. Press
S
/
T
to select an option and then press
ENTER. Follow the instructions below to execute
the menu command.
5. Press [OK] to confirm.
