Virtual Fence 

Virtual fence involves using the software to create a fence-crossing detection of 

the demanding object.

in the VMS Console.  

 

Configuring and Editing Detection Windows 

To configure a new detection window: 

1.

 

Right-click the camera entry in the 

Device Browser

, and click 

VI

 

Settings 

> Virtual Fence

. 

If a new window is desired, select 

Directions 

and click the 

New Region

 

button to create a new window. The current window will be highlighted 

with a one/two-way arrow (blue means “in”, green means “out”).
