8-5. SDI Output System Adjustment

8-5-1. Adjustment Overview

In the electrical adjustments for the SDI output, adjust each VCO free-running frequency for the encoders
using the menu in the maintenance mode.

For detail of each menu in the maintenance mode, refer to Section 4.

Tools/Fixtures

To perform the electrical adjustments for the SDI output lines, prepare the following equipment (or
equivalent) and fixtures.

The manual adjustment is not needed when the automatic adjustment can be is performed in the VTR.

Analog composite video monitor

This video monitor is for menu displaying. Be sure to connect it to VIDEO OUTPUT COMPOSITE 2
(SUPER) connector.

Adjustments

Since following adjustment items can be adjusted independently of each other, no special order has been
observed.
