6-11-3. Fan Motor (AU)
1. Remove the top panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-4-1.)
2. Remove the AU-311 board.
(Refer to steps 2 and 3 of Section 6-12-1.)
3. Disconnect the harness from the connector
CN800.
4. Remove the three screws to detach the fan
motor bracket (AU), the fan spacer and the
fan motor (AU).
5. Attach a new fan motor (AU) with its label
side facing rear, oriented in the direction as
shown in the figure.
6. Reinstall the removed parts by reversing
steps 1 to 4 above.

1. Remove the top panel assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-4-1.)
2. Remove the power supply unit.
(Refer to Section 6-2.)
3. Remove the two screws, and remove the
power lid.
4. Disconnect the harness from the connector.
5. Remove the two screws to detach the fan
bracket (power supply).
6. Remove the two screws to detach the fan
motor (power supply).
7. Attach a new fan motor (power supply) with
its label side facing rear, oriented in the
direction as shown in the figure.
8. Reinstall the removed parts by reversing
steps 1 to 6 above.
