Keyframe Effects
Relation between insertion position and changes in
effect duration
When the edit point is intermediate between two keyframes as
shown below, inserting a keyframe does not change the timing of
any other keyframes, and the total effect duration remains the
same.
On the other hand, when the edit point is at the position of an
existing keyframe as shown below, inserting a keyframe either
before or after the existing keyframe changes the total effect
duration.
If, however, the CNST DUR button is lit when you carry out the
insertion, the effect duration again does not change, and the
inserted keyframe has a duration of zero.
