Operations
Applying the melting effect – F1 (MELT)
Use the following procedure.
1
Press F1 (MELT), turning it on.
2
Set the “Transition” parameters.
• Left knob (“Trns”): degree of transition (0 to 100%)
• Center knob (“Curv”): degree of stretching the image (0 to
100%)
• Right knob (“Rndm”): degree to which the melted portion is
jagged (0 to 100%)
Selecting the shape of the portion beginning to melt – F2
(PATTERN)
Use the following procedure.
1
Press F2 (PATTERN), turning it on.
2
Adjust the parameters for the following items.
Moving the waves at the melting boundary – F3 (LOCK)
Use the following procedure.
1
Press F3 (LOCK), turning it off.
2
Adjust the “Border” parameter.
• Right knob (“Sped”): direction and speed of wave
movement (–100 to +100%)

Knob adjustments of parameters
“Border”
Select the shape
of the portion
beginning to melt.
Left (“Amp”): size of the waves (0 to
100%)
Center (“Freq”): degree of fineness of
the waves (0 to 100%)
Right (“Ofst”): phase offset of the
waves (–16 to +16)
“Slant angle”
Set the angle of
the boundary.
Right knob (“Angl”): boundary angle
(–100 to +100%)
