Special Effects

Operations

Selecting the border color – F2 (FLAT COLOR) and F3 (HUE
ROT)

These border color selections are the same as for the background.

Inserting external video into the border – F5 (EXT VIDEO)

Set F5 (EXT VIDEO) to ON.
This inserts the video signal input to the EXTERNAL VIDEO
connector on the rear of the processor into the border.

Softening the border – F6 (BORDER SOFT)

Use the following procedure.

Press F6 (BORDER SOFT), turning it on.

Adjust the parameters as follows.
• Left knob (“Innr”): degree of softening of inner edge

(0 to 100%)

• Center knob (“Outr”): degree of softening of outer edge

(0 to 100%)

• Right knob (“All”): degree of softening of inner and outer

edges (***)

Setting the size of frame at which the border is applied – F7
(CROP)

To set the size, position, and other parameters of the frame, press
F7 (CROP). The CROP menu appears.
