TRAIL SOURCE Settings – 22.1

You can replace the afterimage part of a recursive effect with a
different video.

In the FREEZE & RECUR menu, press F8 (TRAIL SOURCE) to
display the TRAIL SOURCE menu.

Replacing the afterimage part with a different video – F2
(TRAIL COLOR)

Press F2 (TRAIL COLOR), turning it on.
This replaces the afterimage part of a recursive effect with a
different video.

Selecting the video for the afterimage part – F4
(SOURCE TYPE)

Press F4 (SOURCE TYPE), and select the video or color matte to
be used for the afterimage part.
FLAT:

a single hue

HUE ROT:

a progressively changing hue

EXT VIDEO:

external video

Select the color, or carry out adjustments as follows. (When you
select “EXT VIDEO” there are no adjustments.)

Selecting a single-hue matte for the afterimage part – F4
(SOURCE TYPE) “FLAT”

After pressing F4 (SOURCE TYPE) and selecting “FLAT”, set the
color parameters.
• Left knob (“Lum”): luminance (0 to 100%)
• Center knob (“Sat”): saturation (0 to 100%)
• Right knob (“Hue”): hue (0 to 359.99˚)
