Adjust the parameters as follows.
MELT Settings – 137
MELT provides an effect on the image as though part of it were
melting away.
With the fourth set of soft key indications shown in the
NONLINEAR menu, select F7 (MELT) to display the MELT
menu.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
“Slant angle”
Set the angle of
the mirrors.

“Mirror H”
Set the horizontal
mirrors.
Left (“Itvl”): spacing between the two
mirrors (width of strip) (0 to 10)
Center (“Pos”): center position of the
unreflected image (–4 to +4)
Right (“Ofst”): offset of the original
image with mirrors held stationary
(–4 to +4)
“Mirror V”
Set the vertical
mirrors.
Left (“Itvl”): spacing between the two
mirrors (width of strip) (0 to 10)
Center (“Pos”): center position of the
unreflected image (–3 to +3)
Right (“Ofst”): offset of the original
image with mirrors held stationary
(–4 to +4)
Right knob (“Angl”): mirror direction
