C000 : CASSETTE SW
Checks the functions of the cassette ID sensor and the REC INHIBIT
sensor.
1.
Select “C000 : CASSETTE SW” and press the rotary encoder.
2.
Press the cassette ID sensor and the REC INHIBIT sensor with a
fingertip. Alternatively, insert a cassette tape so that the above
sensors are pressed down.
3.
Check that the bit corresponding to the pressed sensor changes to
“1” on the display. (The bit corresponding to the un-pressed
sensor remains “0”.)
(For details of the respective sensors, refer to Section 1-1-3,
“Sensor Layout Diagram and Function Description”.)

If the bit that corresponds to the pressed sensor does not change to
“1”, or does not return to “0” when released, check the following.
