appropriate Gamatronic key, contact your distributor or sales agent.
8.2.1.3.2.
ECO Mode
In ECO Mode (also known as offline), the load is powered from the bypass line. In the event of a
problem with the bypass input, the load is transferred to the Inverter.
ECO Mode can result in an energy savings of at least two percent, because the Inverter is used
much less than it would be otherwise. This is at the expense of a small increase in the possibility
of the load being subject to irregularities in the input voltage, during transfer of the load from the
bypass line to the Inverter. In the decision to use ECO Mode or not, much depends on the normal
quality of the mains voltage and on the sensitivity of the load.

Enabled
Make a checkmark here enable the ECO Mode function on the UPS.
Analyse grid
Checkmark this field if you want the UPS software to decide the reliability
of the mains voltage.
Custom reliability
Indicate your judgement of how reliable the mains voltage is.
If you have selected the “Analyse grid” option, the UPS software may
change the reliability later based on its observations.
Define timeouts
The “timeouts” in this ECO Mode function refer to how much time the
UPS will stay in Inverter mode; that is, how much time must elapse before
the UPS returns to ECO Mode. The more unstable the bypass input, the
more time the UPS will wait before returning to ECO Mode.
Confirm
Press the Confirm button to apply your choices.
