UPS Start-up/Shutdown
7.1.
Switch on UPS (not first-time start-up)
This section explains the start-up procedures for the operator after a UPS shutdown.
UPS shutdown could have occurred for any of the following reasons:
Due to battery exhaustion following an extended power outage.
Due to a manual shutdown performed by a technician prior to performing
UPS maintenance.

Notice the Status screen (Figure 24) indicates that UPS was manually shutdown, i.e. UPS state is
OFF. The shutdown was performed manually, indicated by the UPS shutdown by OFF button –
and no output message.
