pulse. To change the averaging setting, press and hold the arrow
key while turning on the monitor. While holding the key, press the
key to scroll through the following averaging selections:

averaging is the number of pulse beats over which
the SpO
2
value is averaged; pulse averaging is the number of
seconds over which the pulse value is averaged.
