Turning On the Monitor
To turn on the monitor:
1. Press the ON key.
When turned on, the monitor does the following:
• The pulse strength bar graph segments light one at a time.
• The monitor's software revision is momentarily displayed.
• The patient number is momentarily displayed.
• The monitor is in Clinician Mode.

2. After a few seconds the % SpO
2
value, pulse rate, and pulse strength
bar graph should be shown. If not, see the Troubleshooting section
for help.
