13.1
Decommissioning the ScrubberGuard
The aim of decommissioning is to prepare the individual components of the system properly
for storage.
WORKSTEP

1.
Close the sample feed and drain the water
tank by pressing the
Drain tank
button (Sec-
tion 7.1).
The pump may only be ope-
rated dry for a maximum of 30
seconds. Danger of overheating!
2.
Interrupt the service voltage to the Scrub-
berGuard and remove the electrical connec-
tions.
Life-threatening voltage
inside the instrument.
Connecting the electrical lines is
extremely dangerous. Parts of the
system can also be damaged. Lo-
cal regulations for electrical instal-
lations must be observed at all
times.
3.
Interrupt the sample feed to the Scrub-
berGuard and remove the inlet and outlet
connections.
4.
Remove the pH probe and pack it correctly.
5.
All areas which come into contact with the
sample must be thoroughly cleaned.
6.
Make sure that all covers are closed and all
locks on the ScrubberGuard are locked.
7.
Attach the transport locks (arrows).
8.
Remove the ScrubberGuard from the measu-
ring point.
