This connector is not suitable for the power supply of powerful actuators. Note the maximum
power consumption in the section Technical data (Page 335).
You specify the voltage value (12 or 24 V) in the WBM ("Operating mode" > "Power supply").
Connecting the 12/24 V control output X10 CTRL to sensors and switches
To supply sensors, actuators and switches of actuators connected to the RTU, you can
connect these to the control output X10 CTRL.

You specify the voltage value (12 or 24 V) in the WBM ("Operating mode" > "Power
supply").

Connecting the external power supply to X10 IN
Finally connect the external power supply (voltage input) of the RTU to terminal block
X10 IN.
Only connect safety extra-low voltages (SELV), refer to the section Interfaces and
connectors (Page 51).

Functional ground
Do not use the functional ground for grounding the RTU. For grounding the system,
refer to the section Grounding and overvoltage protection (Page 73).

Connecting Modbus devices
The extension board has two terminals "A" (Data+) and "B" (Data-) for connecting RS-485
wiring with up to 8 Modbus devices.
With RS-
485 wiring, a termination resistor of 120 Ω must be connected at both bus ends.
When older RS-485 components are used without fail-safe functionality, fail-safe resistors
