Send buffer

Class 1 / Class 2 / Class 3
Here, for each of the three event classes you specify the maximum number of events that
can be stored in the send buffer before they are sent to the communications partner.
Range of values: 0 .. 255
If you enter zero, the function is deactivated for the relevant class. As many events can
be stored for the class as the overall size of the send buffer or a configured Delay time for
events allows.
Note the overall size of the send buffer, refer to the section Performance data (Page 36).
Delay time for events

Class 1 / Class 2 / Class 3
Here, for each of the three event classes you specify the maximum time the events can
be stored in the send buffer before they are sent to the communications partner. Time in
seconds.
If you enter zero, the function is deactivated for the relevant class. As many events can
be stored for the class as the overall size of the send buffer or a configured buffer for
events allows.
If the value zero is set for the buffer for events and for the delay time for events, both
functions are disabled and no events are transferred unsolicited.

Specifies the DNP3 conformity level supported by the master (DNP3 Application Layer
Protocol Level)

The RTU supports level 2 and other functions that go beyond DNP3 conformity level 2.

Max. time between Select and Operate
Max. duration (seconds) between Select and Operate. For a Select command to be
transferred to the controller and to take effect, no other command may be sent to the
station between Select and Operate.
Permitted range: 1..65535.
If the RTU receives two commands within the configured time period, both commands are
ignored.

Connection confirmation
Condition for the RTU to request a connection confirmation from the master (never,
always, only with segmented data frames).
