Notes on the texts
Maximum text length
The text length is limited to 160 characters. Spaces and line breaks count as characters.
If you enter more than 160 characters in the input box, when you save ("Apply") an error
message will be output and you need to shorten the text.
Using placeholders for process data
Within a text, you can use up to six placeholders for current values of tags. In the body of the
text of the message, the current values are transferred.
The placeholders are identified by square brackets.
The following placeholders are available:
● [V.x]
Placeholder for the decimal value of a tag.
–
V is the placeholder for the tag name.
"V" must be replaced in the text by the configured name of the tag.
– The period and the digit following it are optional indicate the number of decimal
places.
Examples of placeholders in the message text:

The placeholder for the value of analog input AI3 with the name "Flow" without
decimal places would appear as follows: [Flow]
– The placeholder for the value of analog input AI4 with the name "Fill level" with one
decimal place would appear as follows: [Fill level.1]

Current date. Format: yyyy-mm-dd
● [TIME]
Current time. Format: hh:mm:ss
● [V.T]
Placeholder for a counted value that is output as a period of time. (Resolution: seconds)
Format: hhhh:mm:ss
