Cleaning the device
Clean the surface
Caution
Make absolutely sure that no water gets into the device during cleaning.
The front panel and operating panel can be washed off. In hazardous areas, only clean with
a moist cloth. We recommend water as cleaning agent, with a commercial rinsing liquid
added.
In the display area, only use slight pressure on the surface. The thin membrane could
otherwise be damaged.
Clean the interior
After opening the device, you can blow out the interior carefully with a compressed air gun, if
necessary.

Maintenance request and fault message
The FIDAMAT 6 is able to detect functional irregularities. These appear as "Maintenance
request" or "Fault" in the status line of the measured value display. At the same time, they
are recorded in the logbook and can be called up there. You acknowledge the message by
pressing the softkey next to the corresponding logbook entry. If do not eliminated the causes
they will appear again.
If a new message appears, the record stored in the logbook is pushed back one place in the
memory. There are a total of 32 memory places available. If all 32 memory places are
occupied, if another record comes in (no. 33), the oldest (no. 1) is overwritten.
