The STI comma delimited file uses scientific notation and the STI Statistics file and
the STI Columnar file use engineering notation for all values where:

Select Translate File Options
Selects the STI Translated files to be created.
6.3.1.7.1.1 STI Statistics File
Creates the STI statistics file based upon the selected statistics options. This is a
standard ASCII file that may be viewed or edited by any word processor.

Exclude Bin Failures: Uses only valid Bin/Sort results, any failed devices are
ignored. Note: if the “Bin 1 Pass Only” option is installed, then only Bin1 sort
results are used.

Exclude Counts: Created STI Statistics files will not include counts.
6.3.1.7.1.2 STI Spreadsheet File
Creates the STI spreadsheet (ASCII comma delimited) file. This file may be imported
into any spreadsheet program that handles standard comma delimited format.
6.3.1.7.1.3 STI Columnar Report File
Creates the STI columnar report file. This is a standard ASCII file; the individual lines
may be longer than acceptable by the word processor. The Print Columnar selection
correctly prints this file.
6.3.1.7.2 Datalog File
Sends the STI datalog file (“.DAT”) to WordPad . The file can be reviewed, edited
and printed.
6.3.1.7.3 Statistics File
Prompts the user if this is to be a new STI Statistics file and, if yes, select the desired
STI data file to use to create the statistics file. Use the Translate Options
(6.3.1.7.1.1) to include or exclude failed devices. Use Log Sort Result (6.4.4) to
select how the data is captured.
The selected STI statistics fil
e (“.STA”) is then sent to WordPad . The file can be
reviewed, edited and printed.
NOTE: STI statistics files can be created, along with the other STI data files using the
Create STI Translated Files menu selection.
