MODEL 5000 SERIES MANUAL
Module test families. The Calibrate IBO box displays the current parameters when
first opened. Note: if no parameters are displayed either the STI 5000 Series Tester
does have the firmware for this option or the PC is not connected to the STI 5000
Series Tester. Select the “Cal” button to run the calibration procedure and display the
new parameters. Note: the parameters are automatically saved when the calibration
procedure is completed.
Auto Calibrate
The STI 5000 Series Tester Auto Calibrate routines are accessed. A standard STI
Test Fixture, connecting A to As, G to Gs and K to Ks, must be attached to the front
panel of the STI 5000 Series Tester.
When first entered, the Auto Calibrate factors are displayed along with buttons to run
the STI 5000 Series Auto Calibrate, save the factors, restore saved factors and zero
the factors. Double click on the desired factor to trim that offset.
The Auto Calibrate Factors are used to compensate the appropriate test answers.
Auto Verify (Manual)
Requires the STI AC-500 Auto Verification Option (contact factory).
The STI 5000 Series Tester Auto Verify steps can be run individually. To run all Auto
Verify steps and create a report, use the Exact Value window.

The Tester Control window provides the means to set various STI 5000 Series Tester
global functions (equivalent to setting these options from the STI 5000 Series Tester
front panel keyboard).


6.3.1.5 Exact Value Auto Open
This menu item is a toggle, if the item is checked, then the Exact Value Window will
be automatically opened, or if open, brought to the front whenever a test program is
sent to the STI 5000 Series Tester. Either click on the menu item or type “CTRL-O”
to toggle between checked and not checked.
